Reviewer Comments: Lupines, and trolls, and boggles, oh my! This novel is a dark urban fantasy, full of action and preternatural creatures crawling around New York City. It is the story about Cal, half-human and half-not, and his human brother. They have been running most of their lives from those that hunt Cal. Wow, wonder if Tolkien would even recognize the elves in this book! Like other first novels, the dialog could be stronger, but the story telling is solid.

Reviewer Comments: In this urban fantasy, a pair of brothers try to protect themselves and stop an evil from taking over the world at the same time. It starts off slow, but towards the end it's a much better read; the pace picks up and it makes more sense. This is the author's first book.
