Reviewer Comments: This is the second book in a series featuring Kitty Norville, late night DJ and werewolf. The book picks up with her life after "outing" herself and leaving her pack. As a result, she becomes involved in the governments' investigation on supernaturals, learns to cope as a rogue wolf without a pack, and meets a whole new set of friends and enemies.

Reviewer Comments: Kitty Norville, late-night radio host and celebrity werewolf is back in the second book of the series.  She is off to Washington, D.C. to testify in front of Congress There, she lands up being the “guest” of the area’s head vampire and meets lycanthropes who survive just fine without the violence and structure of a pack.  This story lacks the cutting wit and entertaining action of the first book.  At times it feels like Vaughn isn’t sure what to do with Kitty’s newly found independence as she moves around the country, broadcasting her bi-weekly radio show but overall, the book is still a great read.

Review #3

Book Rating:
Reviewer Comments: Sequel to "Kitty and the Midnight Hour." Urban fantasy. Kitty gets in trouble for bringing the supernatural community (i.e. werewolves, etc.) out into the open where everyone can see them. Now she has a whole bunch of enemies, and has to contend with different governmental agencies and dirty politicians. A good continuation of the first story. Well-crafted characters. 3 1/2.
